Bad dog. BAD.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Ayuh, that dog sure was humping the crap outta some inanimate objects alright. -- cortex

Looks like she's trying to get a wedgie out of her ass.

I'm just a little old school about girls this young doing moves like this... that is, stripper moves, exotic dancer moves and all. That's messed up. Well, that's what MTV did to kids, I guess. But add to that a dog doing his dog thang, and, uh, well, it's just a little too weird for me, man.

Also, I gotta say, after thinking about it for a minute, I don't really think this is a post that belongs on MetaFilter. I think MetaFilter can do without posts like this. Just my opinion, you understand.

At least the dog has rhythm.

Brandon...comeon, man!

Here it is.. preteen exotic dance and humping dog.... that's it, that's ALL it is....

Even FARK wouldn't have posted this....

however...Boing Boing might be interested, they've got some strange stuff going... and if you could get that Cory person to do the dog part, and write a book about it, they would post it for sure....

What were you thinking?

I doubt that dog's commitment to Sparkle Motion.

I thought it was funny as hell.

(Initially I thought maybe I was meant to be laughing at the girl, which I didn't think was funny or nice. So the dog was a pleasant surprised. Strange little fellow as he is.)

OK, there's no WAY I'm going to click that link at work.

While yeah, I found myself giggling a bit...I don't really think it was a metafilter-worthy post, either.

Perhaps you could have also included a wikipedia link on "dogs humping toys" and a maybe an old New York Times op-ed piece (registration required) on the topic.

The dog, he is French, no? So what did you expect? Le bow. Le wow. Le rowr rowr.

I guess it was a mistake to check in to Metafilter while waiting for my coffee to brew. The pre-teen exotic dancer filming herself and the futile, humping dog and probably, the very amused papa posting it to You Tube -- there's some depressing po-mo case to be made there ... but I got nothing more before caffeine. It's a little too meta. Anything gave me a nice laugh, so there is that.

Witness the Farkification of Metafilter.

Reading these comments, I now know that the Powers That Be denying us YouTube access to our workstations is probably a good thing after all.

We best put a stop that kid's enjoyment of dancing before she grows up without our hangups.

see.... now THAT would have been a post! (I didn't even know there WAS a NYT piece on this)

so.... I checked to see if there WAS a wiki... and happened upon this...

Boing Boing, Cory Strikes again...

damn... I love it when I'm right... It happens so seldom!

For comparison, check out this Chechen girl dancing at a wedding.

No humping dogs, though.

It's not such a bad thing.
And you gotta give it to the dog, he's working very hard and, it would seem, getting very little reward.

Wow, those are some very curious steps those Chechens have going in claudius' link there.. Never seen anything quite like it.

To date, I've not seen a more brilliant allegory for the Internet: precociously-sexualized tween dances provocatively while a dog futilely humps a stuffed toy. All it's missing is the skull in the foreground corner to remind us all of the transience of life.

Damn it. I already flagged this and snarked about it in-thread, but now claudius's link is redeeming the thread and making me feel better about life generally. What to do?

What to do? Just go to Rock Steady's link and start feeling bad about life again!
