That's awesome! This Christmas season, I am thankful for DownThemAll.

Nice! A perfect solution for a stale Christmas playlist.

Eddie Cantor's 1939 song "The Only Thing I Want For Christmas (Is Just To Keep The Things That I've Got)" holds up well. Although for some reason I could see it being in a Terry Gilliam film.

Thanks Slack-a-gogo. I listened to the first one on the list, and it did nothing for me so I was about to surf on, but I'm glad I heard Eddie Cantor's piece. That one worked for me. This is one of those times when I really don't get my tastes and finicky sensibilities. I wish I knew which of these I'd like to hear without having to click on all of them, but maybe that's the point to lists like this. LOL

Looks like I've got my voiceover beds for this weekend's radio show: those two Robert Gayler tracks are wobbly and poppy, just the way I like 'em. They sound like outtakes from the lost HAL 9000 Shutdown Mode Christmas LP. And yup, the Eddie Cantor track is great. Thanks for the link.

Great call on the Robert Gayler/HAL 9000 Shutdown Mode Christmas LP. I think Christmas would have scared me if that's what I had to listen to as a kid. Play that over a short wave radio and I would implode.
