You know, the song White Christmas is so... short! In just about any other pop song, the totality of White Christmas would only serve as the first verse. It's one verse, sung twice. I've often imagined that Irving Berlin might've knocked it off in, what, 10, 20, 30 minutes writing time? And the money it's made! Nice job, Irving!

That was a nice version of the song. I'd like to know its origins, too. Weird Internet time dilation phenomenon: I would think nothing of a friend recommending a book or a movie that was ten or twenty years old. But to see a new (to me) Flash Christmas cartoon from 2002 makes me think I've Missed Something. I fear this is symptomatic of a larger problem, but can't quite put my finger on it.

Hadn't seen this for a couple of years, and I'm delighted to see it again. The Drifters were one of the best groups ever, and this animation is beautifully done (I love the little grin on Santa's face as he listens to the raindeer soloist: "Yeah, baby, you've got the spirit!"). Thanks for the post. It seems like crap to me. You might want to look under the sofa cushions for your soul.

The Drifters' version of White Christmas has been one of my all-time favorites for a very long time* and I thought the animation was adorable. Thanks! *right behind Judy Garland's Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas which she delivers in such a heartbreaking, haunting manner.
