I got nausea just looking at that. Good god that's impressive. This is the kind of thing that used to be highlighted in the great Nest Magazine. Also, I saw no bed in the bedroom and no sink or toilet in the bathroom. wtf?

Memory hog alert - the bathroom Flash panorama alone consumed 1.5 gigs of Page File on my 512 meg system- 2 gigs of ram would be a minimum to view these things smoothly.

There's a bed/sink/toilet in there, dobbs. They're just covered in shit. Also, I didn't have any problems with the flash on there, it ran totally smooth over here.

I've never understood what makes these collector guys tick. It's almost like they're expressing a gene that's usually only active in birds, some crazy gene that drives male birds to build extravagant nests out of the most colorful, shiny bits their little bird beaks can carry. Except no matter how hard the collector guys work, their nests never attract a mate.

I know Steve. I was at a party of his some time back, I think it's an annual thing. Among those in attendance were an entomologist and a couple of sideshow performers. I'd taken the (meatspace) tour of his house before, so no RAM strain on my part here... What surprised me the most the second time around was the huge collection of boxes and packing materials stored outside next to his house... He owns several pieces of sideshow memorabilia that absolutely knocked my socks off!
