VADS is a resource for visual art, a huge range of things from students' work to collections of historical art and design.

I particularly liked the Bookbinders's Women's Suffrage banner and the Corpus of Romanesque Sculpture

Definitely a site worthy of a post. I almost don't like VADS in a way simply because it is so vast a portal to so many different collections all over the UK. Stupid logic I agree but there you have it. [In reality, the advantage that this portal provides is a centrally located architecture where thumbnails of all the images can be seen, without having to negotiate each specific repository] From the Collections index I particularly like the Spellman Music Covers and the John John Johnston Trades & Professions; and from the Resources index I love the images from the 60s/70s of Design magazine.
