2008 Political Parodies

It’s 2008, which just means another eight months of annoying, partisan U.S. politics. So what will be 2008’s Swift Boat, Dean Scream, Jesusland, Mysterious Bulge? And who will make fun of the new candidates? What will be 2008’s This Land, "Don't Vote," Strategery, Global Warmings, Lockbox (does anyone know where I can find the video of this one?). Political parodies are the only thing that make contemporary politics bearable.

All we’ve gotten so far is Obama Girl, Ron Paul Remixes (Ron Roll'd & Ron/Sean Paul), Race for the White House, HuckChuckFacts and some crappy JibJab Sendables. Has anyone seen anything better? Here’s hoping the writer’s strike ends in time for some more Indecision 2008 coverage (Yeah, I know the Daily Show is back, but it sucks without its real writers).

This post was deleted for the following reason: The general idea with a mefi post is that you're sharing something interesting you have found, not speculating about what you haven't. Linking to old stuff -- and new stuff that you don't think is up to snuff -- is kind of doing things backwards. -- cortex

Check out some of the videos at 236.com. Those SwiftKids are a critical bunch...
