This post was deleted for the following reason: it's like once we mentioned in Meta that there hadn't been a deletion in a while, suddenly there was a mad land grab for them. this is a short blurby semi-stupid celeb news article. it is not a great post for metafilter. -- jessamyn

A 160-word wire-service blurb about a second-rate presenter returning to a third-rate show on a fourth-rate network?

That's your post?

Really?

Internet Rule 576(c) prevents me from commenting on this in a snarky way.

Internet Rule 576(c) states that "for every person that has been on TV, Stage, or Screen, there is a fan base. Therefore any news regarding any person that has been on TB, Stage, or Screen is liable to be noted as FPPWorthy on Metafilter by at least one of the 60,000+ members.

Internet Rule 576(c1) states "snarking about such post will come back and bite you on the butt when you, post news about a person that nobody other than you has heard of"

Internet Rul 576(c2) goes on to say that "if you DO snark about this person, you may quickly learn that EVERYONE else thinks this person is wonderful and this is a jim-dandy FPP"

/keeps mouth shut

Wittgenstein is a human being. Paige Davis is a human being. In that sense, this is a self-link.

I blame the writer's strike.

"'The Music Man' Starring Basic Cable's Paige Davis", while a modest hit for the Flatville Dinner Theatre (Exit 15, plenty of free parking next to the Big K), was sadly forced to close by town elders after it was revealed that noted helmsman "Chef Pierre" Pete Messerman was not serving "a Prix Fixe Buffet of Gascony specialties" but instead expired Hot Pocketz drenched in Heinz Turkey Gravy stolen from the loading docks of the big box store next door.

I see I'm not the only one to run out of internet to look at today.

Wittgenstein is just trying to make me feel better about my light-on-details Bobby Fischer obit post.

Mission accomplished.
