This post was deleted for the following reason: this is sort of not sucha great post. It's written oddly, it just links to a bunch of news stories, it seems a little axe-grindy. -- jessamyn
Flagged as double, maybe.

For the satire-challenged, Here's the King's English Version:
Headline: Why is it, brother, that you do not have a mark imprinted on your body that identifies you with your retirement savings account?
Body: It seems that the Global Economy has perhaps taken quite a turn for the worse. If we wish, we may indulge in excusing the situation by reveling in a few turns of phrase, but what could the real meaning of such an event be? Will there even be a 'real meaning' to such an event? Best wishes, thanks and regards, and above all may your language games stay hygienic and intact -
- John Maynard Keynes.

Flagged as sucks, sorry.
I would be cool with a good post on this topic, though.

I'm glad I am almost finished building my fortress in the woods. Just need a few days before the moat is ready to be filled (alligators should be here any day now) and the gun towers are fully operational. Until then I am still vulnerable.

I did like the handy armageddon list at the end, but doesn't that belong on our monthly Oil Peak Freakout FPP? I mean, today's recession means we'll all be coping with basic cable.
