Holy crap, these are awesome. Great post.

I was poking around them from the main link and came across the femme fatale you also link there; I really have to wonder how much damage that could do. To me the thing looks like a weak BB gun, but maybe at close range it could be useful. Who knows, although I have to say that the IDEA is neat and I'm sure would be right at home in a steampunkish roleplaying game.

The belt gun has got to be the most literal representation of a gun as a phallic object I have ever seen. I can just see this closeted homosexual Sheriff, looking at the Sears catalog and thinking to himself, "yeah, that's the way I want to put a bullet into a man."

A page from the Artemis Gordon playbook, for sure.

The cross gun reminded me of The Holy Mountain.
(gun in question is about 8:00 in. NSFW, also OMG SOMEONE POSTED ALL OF THE HOLY MOUNTAIN TO YOUTUBE!)

You want little guns? I got your little guns right here.

Seriously check it out, there is some magnificent miniature work with firearms.

maybe I'm just a giant geek, but... you know what, strike that, I AM a giant geek, and these remind me 1st and foremost of the gun-blades from Final Fantasy. Why hasn't anyone built one of those yet? So many of these combo sword-knife gizmos seem to be on the cusp of doing so, but don't have the sophistication. How hard is it to put a freaky-long sword on the end of a smith&wesson?

It could be useful for shooting poison darts or something. Although I'd think a spring mechanism would be just as good at that point.
