Skip the movie and just check out fourdegrees.org for info about the 4 degrees project, "a digital video documentary that will record the lives and works of hip-hop artists living in the Twin Cities."

considering one of these "whiteboy rappin minesnowdans" is arguably the best freestyle rhymer/rapper in the Nation right now its not a bad investment.

besides. its there own money. they can do what they want with it.

I guess I'm pretty damn outta touch.

I just thought the teaser didn't tease. And as the project is to document rappers' lives in Minneapolis, I can't think of anything I'd rather not watch more. But good for them nevertheless.

Excuse me, I've got to get back to PBS, they're having their riveting "Spring Fund Drive".

Qambient is right, if he's talking about Eyedea, who is extremely talented. And if Qambient is anything like his namesake, he's no slouch, either.

yeah im talking about Eyedea. His group, the Rhyme Sayers, have done countless shows in mpls. and i am impressed they have done so well. Having Eye win Blaze Battle on HBO is just icing on the cake.

btw. if you search napster for eyedea you will find most of his Blaze Battles on it.

if you dont know what blaze battle is. Its a rhyming competion between 2 rhymers. They each get like 2 mins to make up rhymes about their opponent on the spot. everything you hear is off the top of there head. no rehearsing or pre-written stuff.

listen to a few and you will get the idea..no pun intended :)
