Maybe it's because I'm not a boy, or maybe because I'm just clueless, but do those "ding-dongs" even work at age 10. Or is this just a bunch of fumbling around they are calling sex. posted by mgtrott at 11:05 PM on April 9, 2001
Errrrr, yes. My recollection is that they were good enough for government work. Now whether or not one could----uhhhh---get a bill passed or not is another ball of wax... posted by fooljay at 11:16 PM on April 9, 2001

First, I wonder whether it's true. The story is based on one girl's testimony, and maybe she was just pissed that she couldn't get into the Ho-Ho Club, which was a group of friends who ate Ho-Hos in the closet.
But if they're really fumbling around with one another sexually at school, in exchange for consumer goods, and unsupervised enough to get away with it, I'd say that's something for their parents to worry about.
Personally, though, I have always hated Ho-Hos and would eagerly have exchanged crates of them at that age for physical contact with girls. I would not be surprised if the boys were lining up for a deal like that.
What I want to know is, what sort of Ho-Ho hungry girls are we talking about? If they were doing it for the sex, then fine. But if they were doing it for snacks?
Um...well,so. What else are you going to do in school? Who wants my Twinkie! posted by poodle at 1:15 AM on April 10, 2001

Um, if this story is true, I say there are a few parents who have been slacking. "yes honey, sex is a wonderful thing, you should wait until you're at least 13". posted by tomplus2 at 5:47 AM on April 10, 2001

Maybe it is a good thing. Per the article for a majority of the class to be involved they would have to put aside their differences. Maybe we should put Jiang Zemin and Mrs. Bush in a closet together and George Jr. can broker the deal. posted by Stretch at 6:11 AM on April 10, 2001
