What's happening at Ohio University to give them so many winners?

So I click "Spot News" and then I click to see the "Silver" photograph and the fucking navigation disappears and the "Back to Top" link goes nowhere and I am stuck in this fucking oubliette of a page. And so I would like to make a public statement to every photography person who thinks that he should come up with some new and clever means of navigating a collection of images:

This is a solved problem. There are several dead-fucking-simple, known-good solutions. If you lack the restraint to implement one of these in place of your deranged and broken novelty gimcrack, you are a bad person and you should feel bad.

Having now worked around their kind-of-clever-yet-also-incredibly-stupid anchors-and-overflow:-hidden trick by messing with the CSS in freaking Firebug so that I am able to see the fucking pictures, I feel compelled to add that they are actually quite nice.

Every year the j-school at Mizzou displays many of the winners of that year's contest. There are always some beautiful images. It's neat to see them all in one place.

How do these colleges or students manage to get themselves to Peru, Vietnam, Gaza Strip just for a college newspaper article or their portfolio?
