"We put 250 napkins in the mail to writers from all over the country -- some with a half dozen books to their name, others just finishing their first. In return, we got nearly a hundred stories. We present most of them here -- from lush to spare, hilarious to terrifying."

This post was deleted for the following reason: I like to scribble on napkins when I'm out at a restaurant; the other night I was having sushi and arguing about what Wolverine's facial hair looks like and ended up scrawling out a rough likeness of Wolvie with and without mask. And then for some reason we got to talking about Nazis and I drew a little Hilter moustache on him, but it didn't really work well. Also, double. -- cortex

This is a double, mjjj. (Though your link still works, where divabat's doesn't.)

Thanks for the alert. Yikes, so old too - I though it was from the recent issue.
