I think it was more likely the common "Green Jellö Sucks!" on homemade fan posters and such, and the "Green Jellö SUXX" EP that the label put out that raised General Foods ire - this was the Early 90's, when 'sucks' was still more shameful. The Looney Tunes one still makes me want to dance. I look like the wolf when I do it, but who cares?

My god, I hated Green Jellö. Yet another example of clueless major labels blundering around in the early 90s alternata-surge and buying up shitty acts that should have remained local oddities forevermore. I bet the A&R rep thought he had a GWAR that could sell at Wal-Mart. Instead he got the musical equivalent of a whoopee cushion and a man dressed as a six-foot corn-studded turd. On second thought, rock on, Green Jellö.
