Woah...haven't seen this game since .... .... windows 95? posted by SmileyChewtrain at 8:35 PM on February 12, 2008
I thought it was 3.1, but it's all a 16 bit haze to me anyways. posted by Burhanistan at 8:39 PM on February 12, 2008
The only place I ever saw it was on the Apple computers at school. Never had it for windows.
The interface is a little clunky. You lose a lot of time by clicking to swap between H and V. posted by Sam.Burdick at 9:01 PM on February 12, 2008
Whoa, what an awful implementation.. posted by dminor at 9:13 PM on February 12, 2008
You don't know how happy certain members of my family will be about the prospect of competitive jezzball. Almost enough that I can predict that NEXT holiday season, scores will be compared. posted by not_on_display at 9:21 PM on February 12, 2008
Hm, it's not the classic jezzball interface, but it's OK. Sam.Burdick, try right-clicking the mouse to change the line orientation. Same as the original! :) posted by empyrean at 9:28 PM on February 12, 2008
Sam.Burdick: you can right-click to change directions.

Yay! I haven't played Jezzball since... well, since I downloaded Best of Windows Entertainment Pack.

Huh. I'd not played this before, but it's definitely a progenitor of Filler. posted by mumkin at 12:58 AM on February 13, 2008
Oh glee. Thanks for this link, I haven't played this game in ages and was always partial to it. posted by Stunt at 1:34 AM on February 13, 2008

When Filler was linked here recently, I thought, "This is good, but it's no Jezzball." I was building chimneys again as though I hadn't given up the game for these past ten years. Good times. posted by sdrawkcab at 7:16 AM on February 13, 2008
Awesome! I've missed you Jezzball. posted by Uther Bentrazor at 7:19 AM on February 13, 2008

a) You owe my boss an apology.
b) Right-click does indeed toggle between vertical and horizontal. Unfortunately, it also brings up the RIGHT-CLICK MENU! posted by callmejay at 12:27 PM on February 13, 2008
Wow, I haven't thought about this game in YEARS. I was definitely hooked back in the day... posted by OverlappingElvis at 1:09 PM on February 13, 2008
I love me some jezzball, but this is pretty buggy. Thanks for the link though. One more thing to do instead of actually working. posted by de novo dahl at 7:57 AM on February 14, 2008
