The Beer Mapping Project is a Google Maps mashup with brewery and pub locations. So far, they cover eight countries, including Belgium, the UK, Australia, and, well, Italy. There are of course multiple regions of the US.

So what are the environmental implications of drinking an import? Depends on whether it's from a bottle or keg. On topic: truly Portland is the One True City wrt beer, but half of the pushpins in my neighborhood are just regular ol' bars. OTOH, I have 3 micro-distilleries in my neighborhood, so I can't complain.
