The Beer Mapping Project is a Google Maps mashup with brewery and pub locations. So far, they cover eight countries, including Belgium, the UK, Australia, and, well, Italy. There are of course multiple regions of the US.

pompomtom, I notice there's a "report a problem" link on the bubble above Darwin. It might be useful to fill it out.

Calling it a "mashup" is almost a pun...

So many people making beer. Does anyone know of any craft breweries in the Hong Kong/Southern China region?

The london beer map is a little sparse at the moment. I'd heartily recommend this one use in the interim.

So what are the environmental implications of drinking an import?

Depends on whether it's from a bottle or keg.

On topic: truly Portland is the One True City wrt beer, but half of the pushpins in my neighborhood are just regular ol' bars. OTOH, I have 3 micro-distilleries in my neighborhood, so I can't complain.
