Coolest Geek-Themed

Isn't that an oxymoron?

I find myself becoming more sensitive every day to the incredible consumption and consumerism that defines our society these days.

Sort of makes me want to go live in a cave.

Just go buy a plasma tv, that'll make you feel better.

Not that I really think it's a good use of time, but these aren't pre-fab kit movie sets. Some of these are impressive in their craft. Takes a little more imagination than the hundreds of home theater rooms tricked out in Pier 1 rubbish.

But they're craft for one person to wallow in, and most of them were bought rather than crafted by their owners. They're versions of Scrooge McDuck's money vault.

I wish they also said how much it cost to build each of those. It'd probably make the TV seem quite cheap.

Millions of people all over the world live for years on less than your computer cost, davey_darling. You're orders of magnitude closer to the people that build these rooms than you are to the people you are talking about.
