Mythbusting MacGyver. For their 100th episode, Mythbusters is tackling The Science of MacGyver. It's not exactly airplane versus conveyor belt or do pretty girls fart - but if anyone's antics needed busting... Angus MacGyver's did.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Really, other than a lightweight teaser from Entertainment Weekly, there's nothing here but wikipedia articles and backlinks to mefi. We probably don't need this. Also, Angus? For serious? -- cortex

I thought the 100th episode milestone worth mentioning and the MacGyver connection amusing enough that I'd add yet another to MythbustFilter.

Why do want to ruin my childhood?! OH WHY?! I used to be a happy kid, safe in the knowledge that MacGyver could and would fix it. And now they're going to tell my eighties were built on a foundation of lies?! Nooooo!

Yet another thread about a single TV show is certainly not the "best of the web."

Unless it's about The Wire.
