Selling something? Try some humor with your pitch. Donna Stuff4Sale. My 95 Ford Ranger. McNeeb Auto.
Damn. I'm looking for a Ford Ranger, just not a teal one.

Good one, CPB. I love the scene in McNeeb where the top goes down, it kind of reminds of Jim Jarmusch.

Wait.. Cool Papa Bell's post is about real people selling real things using professional-grade home-made commercials seen only on the net. They are not jokes like the Baltimore one, or old TV spots. These are real commercials made by amateurs for the purpose of selling something on the Internet.
My prediction is someones style or technique is going to hit home and the pros will pick up on it. Donna's is excellent.

That was awesome.
I wasn't sure McNeeb was 'intentional' funny until the Spanish guitar part. Satire like that, practically indistinguishable from the mockee, is highly appreciated.

I've written funny Craiglist ads that have worked well. "Fish tank with stand" didn't sell, but "Nice fish tank with crappy stand" did.

The McNeeb Auto one is hilarious, but:
Kevin Kirkpatrick of the Groundlings makes this convertible the summer's "it" car
And there isn't any phone number or contact information to buy it like the truck video, so I'm guessing this is just a comedy video and not a clever way to sell your car.
