I met him a couple of times while working one summer with Boston Neighborhood Network News. He's funny, quick-witted, swears like a sailor, and had the richest tan you'll ever behold. That guy does one lousy Menino impression.

About a year ago I was out for a few drinks with some friends from work, and the mayah was apparently having a fundraiser on the second floor of the bar. This was a Tuesday night (don't judge) and there weren't that many people at the bar so I could hear his "thank you" speech in the second floor without making out anything he was saying. The thing is, that would probably still be the case if I was standing right next to him. And definitely a bad Menino impression.

That guy does one lousy Menino impression. I disagree. He doesn't have the timbre down, but he does the distinctive glottal vowels and the start-stop tempo very well.

Been there, done that... At a tribute to a local Boston Music Scenester, Hizzonah was asked to speak, and the Acme Theatre put a screen up and projected subtitles... I wish I had video. It was a hoot.
