Ask Metafilter: I watched two minutes before falling asleep. When I woke up, my pants were gone. Can I sue?

Is it as boring and pointlessly pretentious as the last game?

It's less boring and pretentious than your comment.

That said, it is more boring than, and just as pointlessly pretentious as, the last game.

I got the high score by paying some stranger to play with my kid whilst I stayed back late at the ice block/furnace office.

Then I became a cynical alcoholic.

I'd just like to say- Passage is good. This is also good.

If I'm pretentious, fuck all y'all.

Whatever you assholes I liked it.

Man, fuck these stars, man. They're shiny, but soul-crushing. Others value their luster, but me, nothing brightens my day more than the sparkle in my boy's blue pixel eyes. Our home may not have the high status, the high numbers accorded to the block-pushers, the furnace-lovers, the workaholics. But the black smoke of obsession chokes their houses, and there is no love there.

Not me. I have the love. And the music. And the perspective. And the heart.

The game may award me no points, but you can be damn sure that God will have mercy on my soul.

Now excuse me while I catch this ball.

Wow. Tough crowd. Personally I like em both (passage too). I think they're only pretentious in as far as they have "artist's statements" to go along with them. I also think they're worthwhile & emotionally effective without reading those statements.

I thought it was even better than Passage.
