Man, fuck these stars, man. They're shiny, but soul-crushing. Others value their luster, but me, nothing brightens my day more than the sparkle in my boy's blue pixel eyes. Wow. Tough crowd. Personally I like em both (passage too). I think they're only pretentious in as far as they have "artist's statements" to go along with them. I also think they're worthwhile & emotionally effective without reading those statements.
