Ok, I voted for Obama but this appears to be totally lame.

Does God get a vote in American elections?

Before I can place a value on an endorsement from God, I need to know how He feels about George W. Bush.

He says he took him out of the oven too early, rendering him half-baked.

The only time I ever wished an FPP was a self-link.

The link goes to a video of Obama's speech in Ebenezer Baptist church before the south Carolina primary. What's interesting about that is that he leads off with an anecdote from the bible about the gates of Jericho, where everyone's voices rase up in unison to bring the walls tumbling down. The idea is to express Unity, you know if we all work together we can solve everything. But if you read the Actual Story After bringing the walls down, they kill everyone in the town (except a prostitute who hid their spies)
So the priest blew the trumpets. As soon as the men heard it, they gave a loud should, and the walls collapsed. Then all the army went captured it. With their swards they killed everyone in the city, men and women, young and old.
So it seems like a rather odd story to inspire people with, at least from my perspective.

When I saw the picture of Obama I was totally wishing this would be one of those eyes-follow-the-mouse-pointer gimmicks.

To be fair, I think it may be a tongue-in-cheek way of battling looniness like this.

Flagged as completely fucking stupid.

Someone needs to put in a feature request for this, actually.

Also, I applaud his people for denying the Westboro Baptists that URL. Ha!

Don't care to get whatever crazy the site is selling all over me by following the link, but this thread is redeemed by revealing to me that jonmc and konolia have both restored their accounts, apparently, and this pleases me.

This seems like sort of a sly defamation project.

"Hey guys, Barrick P. Ubama here, and I'd just like to say, that I just couldn't be much bigger than Jesus than I am right now."

Obama would make an incredible preacher. I would flock to his flock. He is the man.

Great post.
