The paintings on Nerdkore by Jeremiah Palecek started when he asked readers "What should I paint today?" and they responded. The result (so far) is a bunch of famous YouTube videos captured in oil on canvas, showing stills from some all-time favorites (techno viking, grape stomp, etc oh and NSFW on the oldest entry at the bottom of the page). The meme reminiscipackage is much more fun than the paintings, which really aren't much cop. Except, perhaps, the Dramatic Squirrel one. Still, I like the idea of these instantly forgotten bits of ephemera being immortalised in oils (well, acrylics by the look of it, but they don't sound quite so immortal!)

I'm a little confused about the Techno Viking thing. The comments seem to indicate that people think he tells this guy to leave for groping that girl, but then later in the video it clearly shows that the guy he grabbed is in fact sitting right in front of him on whatever vehicle the camera is riding on...Anyone care to elaborate?

It looks to be like the guy stumbled and crashed into the girl. The guy gives teknoviking his story, and teknoviking doesn't buy it. The guy was just trying to go *over there* but teknoviking says "no, you must go *over there* instead."

Oh, excuse me, Aramaic- I'm a little confused about the Technoviking thing. hellphish- Yeah, I guess, but the comments make it sound like he saw the guy off, when the most he really did was tell the guy to sit back down.
