And I'm still pissed it's Windows only.

Previously (ahem)

It isn't really a double, as the previous post was more of a proof of concept, and this one is more fully realized. Also, Nov. 2005 is a long time ago, folks.

So was the latest build...

Yeah. Splatta is right. He saw it first. He's better than me.

Even if it's a double, I have to say that I never would have seen this apart from this post. I don't often go digging back to 2005, nor do I search for video games here regarding cloud concepts.

Thanks for the link.

Not a valid argument. You can always track deleted posts on LoFi if you want.

Last.

Not a valid argument.

You know, that's one of the problems with Metafilter. Not everything is an argument.

This is a double of a game that didn't much impress me the first time around either.

If you leave me 4,000 favorites in a crumpled brown paper bag behind the 9622 thread, I'll pretend to have encountered the Cloud game for the first time.

What they said.

I'm sure you're quite proud of yourself, trondant. You know, there's a way to flag a message as a double, and no one has to know you're a dick when you do it.
posted by Dave Faris at 1:14 PM on March 14, 2008

If those were anyone else's guidelines I wouldn't have dreamed of holding you to them.
posted by trondant at 1:18 PM on March 14, 2008

And I agreed two-hours ago that it was a double. What was your point?
posted by Dave Faris at 1:23 PM on March 14, 2008

This is agreeing? It looked like childish foot-stamping to me. Of course, when you disagree with someone you're free to call them a "dick" for quoting their very own words on the selfsame subject to them, right?

Regardless of whether or not it's a double, you certainly failed to live up to your own published advice by not linking to the prior FPP. You want a point, there it is.

And why on earth would Mr. "I'm dropping my pseudonym" give anyone pointers on being an anonymous dick? Does using the flagging system make you a dick? I don't get that.

I see the jerk brigade is out in full force today.

Well, to spell it out for you Trondant, if I were to follow my own advice, (which I did), the url that I posted only pulled up one other post, for something called Flow, which Pastabagel already pointed to in the first comment. The URL for the post that Splatta made was different from the one I posted today. As for the rest, I'll leave it for you to work that out for yourself.
