Do you like video games? Art about video games? Comics about video games? If yes, Lifemeter may be for YOU!

Sadly, they have not updated in a while. However, on their LJ site, you can find even more comics and more artwork.

Thanks for the links. Following the watermarked URL on one of the pics, I found one of the artist's website (Darren Calvert). A lot of well-executed but fairly typical drew-somebody's-D&D-character-for-commission stuff, but also an excellent series of reimaginings of Super Mario Bros. characters.

How does this really fun post have only one comment? Thanks for the great find, piratebowling. I love art projects like this.

Thanks, EatTheWeak. I thought I did something wrong, unknowingly.

The reimaginings are great, as is the Frogger comic. By "great" I mean scary and depressing, each in turn. Good find.

I would have commented sooner, but I was playing Brawl.

This is great stuff.

Why is he so close? He's in "kissing distance!"
Non-sequitur gold.

If I haven't said if before I'll say it now. Doctor Mario's credentials have always been suspect. Lifemeter rules. I didn't know about the LJ site. Thanks!
