To be fair, the bear was in easy to miss because he was the same colour as the team in black. They could have made this better.

It would be more realistic if, before taking the test, you were asked to start having a loud and pointless conversation with someone on a mobile phone, while drinking your morning starbucks. Oh yes, and then you have to shout at the bear: it's his fault you didn't see him.

Very doublish, however that gave me a chance to do an experiment of my own. I counted the passes and looked for the "strange thing" that I knew was going to appear and I still missed it.

Same here DU. I was even specifically expecting a bear, but it was such a close visual match to the team in black that I actually looked at the bugger for a second just before he stepped out of frame and I still didn't realize that he was out of place.
