Also, consider this your seizure warning, as there's quite a bit of flashing about 2/3 through. posted by flatluigi at 6:51 PM on March 23, 2008

Pirate Baby's is one of my favorite video...art...film...pieces. And coincidentally, I've been listening to In Case We Die a whole lot this last week. Thanks! posted by griphus at 8:02 PM on March 23, 2008

I enjoyed watching the Violence Kings evolve from Krang (or was it Mother Brain) and Pikachu - and the ending (no I shan't spoil it) was a pleasant surprise. posted by thedaniel at 10:29 PM on March 23, 2008

Oh great, now I read this as I'm cleaning the barf off my keyboard. That red/blue flashing shit actually got to me.

The video player on the AIH site is dinkier than Youtube, so here's "Do the Whirlwind" at a somewhat higher res.
I'm loading it up now... posted by Pronoiac at 11:43 PM on March 23, 2008
... Holy fuck. That was made of awesome & win.

I liked the fact that Longcat showedup on the cross sometime between the 8:30 and 9:00 mark posted by Lord_Pall at 1:16 AM on March 24, 2008
OK, during the cross scene, I can definitely make out:
Alf, Picard, Lenin, Hulk Hogan, Longcat, Bomberman, Ash from Pokemon, Peewee Herman, Weird Al, Freud, Washington, Ultraman, the guy from Fatal Fury, a Lego guy, Bruce Lee.
Then there are some maybes: Marx (?), Jesus wearing boxer shorts (?), Aristotle (or some other Greek guy).
And lots of other people I just can't place: the kid with the "Fresh" hat, the guy in the blue suit, the South American revolutionary, the guy with square glasses, the mustachioed guy in the matador clothing, the guy with shaggy hair and black clothes. Any help? posted by painquale at 2:50 AM on March 24, 2008
I just wanted to pop in here to say that this is the very definition of Best Of The Web. posted by shmegegge at 11:11 AM on March 24, 2008
Painquale, I need to watch it again, but I'm almost sure I saw Saddam in there...
Now you just need to break down the "god attack", which included of course Godzilla. posted by Brocktoon at 2:15 PM on March 24, 2008
Saddam! Of course! That's the guy I said was the South American revolutionary (d'oh).
The names of the God Attack participants are written in the background during the strike. posted by painquale at 3:10 PM on March 24, 2008
This is indescribably indescribable. I think I just knocked 3 years off my lifespan by watching it.
I'm okay with that, though. posted by Durhey at 4:34 PM on March 24, 2008
