This post was deleted for the following reason: mystery meat posts about websites that immediately go down with unretrievable archives are not really great posts for metafilter. -- jessamyn

Lordy mercy, I do declare, MetaFilter done broken this here website.

Taksi Putra, it's now up to you to step up to the plate and describe, in full detail, what this Bedsitter Man is all about. Thousands of MeFiers are counting on you, my friend. Don't let 'em down!

Hey... this could be fun...

Google cache of the bedsitter man says he's an inventor of things that don't exist. Aren't they all.

He camps. He started a website in 2001, whose tagline submitted to the search websites is "Drawings of impossible inventions, demonstrations of useless machines and satirical comment. In English and Finnish.". He sings, but not terribly well. He's from Finland. He makes tar.

Some of the inventions include a Dozer Blade for a Bicycle, a Coffee Cup for Short People, a Coffee Cup for Tall People, a Wash Powder for Black Garments, Soap Solvent, a Spoon Toothbrush, a Gas Turbine Driven Sauna Oven, and, my favorite, a Mini-planetarium.

There's a lot more at this google search of the bedsitter site.

And I love this phrase from the links section: "These pages speak Portuguese." One of the links he gives is now here: Objectos Imposibles, and it will help give us an idea of what this page is about. While searching, I found this amusing picture on a Korean site of a Lace Condom.
