How is it different from eHow or HowStuffWorks, other than being a Barnes & Noble microsite?

Domain name registration? Content? Is this a trick question?

No! I'm totally serious, and not being snarky. I'm trying to understand how this site is somehow different or better than the other sites already out there doing the exact same thing -- other than the addition of the huge BN book link ads, and the relative smaller body of contributed tutorials. Is the content differentiated in some way I don't see? Are the expert contributors more expert-y?

Proving definitively that the internet really is, finally, running out of pronouncable, memorable, non-ridiculouos domain names.

I wish there was a site devoted to "hacks", if you will, for my life.

That's a great idea Everichon! I'd like to see a site that had a couple cool projects, an amusing anecdote disguised as a how-to article and a zillion posts where adolescents talk about the awesome destructive power of the gun they just make with K'nex.

"Your health-care practitioner should monitor your use carefully."

Hardly seems like self-medicating to me...

I snark, but OTOH I can't do much in real life. I am not the type to attend MAKE(tm) gatherings, because I can't. Except that thing where you press leaves with wax paper and and iron. I can do that. And self-medicating, I practice and I practice.

I love their drug posters: Is dextroamphetamine right for you? is the header on the ADD drug. Sure, sign me right up!

If you can iron you can etch brass! It's just like the bit with the leaves only you add a car battery and some copper sulfate.
