Ok this obviously went WAY over my head. Could someone explain it in King's English for me?

Basic explanation: Books are special. Books are more than just the text that's in them. And in order to make that point, the author resorts to vague metaphysical mumbo-jumbo of the most egregious sort.

He would, in short, like the digital age to get off his lawn.

Now the link doesn't even work.

Your search - cache:http://www.gilbooks.com/ghostinthebook.htm - did not match any documents.

Suggestions:

* Make sure all words are spelled correctly.
* Try different keywords.
* Try more general keywords.
* Try going outside and watching the snow melt.

A broken link to a cached copy of a luddite rant?

The link is supposed to work, right?

Sorry folks. The link worked when I posted this. I've asked cortex to delete the thread. I have a copy of the text, so if you're interested mefimail me. (Not a luddite rant btw. A little pretentious, but interesting).
