That's... kind of amazing. Admittedly, I'd probably laugh if this were just some dude dressing up like Manson and lip-syncing, but the fact that he's able to make such an art of the way he "sings" along is pretty frickin' cool. Plus, I know how to say the s-word in ASL now. Teehee.

This is really great and the guy is a genius to think of doing it. I hope deaf kids who watch this can feed it through some enormous speakers and crank up the volume so the base line and drums thump their thoraxes.

The Youtube page links a couple of other ASL-interpreted music videos. The visual performance is fantastic, but I wonder how enjoyable the song would be without audible rythm.

Given that he's signing in ASL, it's probably about as hard as simultaneously writing English and speaking English. ASL is a different language to English with a different grammar, so there is a bit of confusion (at least for me when I mix the two). I use a lot of ASL when I am singing children's programmes and the phrases I am signing do not always match up with the words I am singing but repetition makes it all flow together. The sign for "poop" is one of the first signs I teach in my children's programmes. After all, everybody poops!

I loved this video. I watched Manson's actual video for the song and it had maybe a 10th the emotion of the ASL one.
