That was pretty sweet. I think the argument that everything is more legit, better, smarter, more interesting with a UK accent really bears out here, btw. posted by sneakin at 7:53 AM on March 27 [1 favorite]
That was great! They should do RoboCop next, then I'd have both my favourite movies from 1987 in rap form! Although, seeing as this apparently took them nine months to create, I'm not holding my breath. posted by soundofsuburbia at 7:59 AM on March 27

It was okay. At least the rap part. The editing was fabulous though! But Ra, R.A. (artist on second verse) and Ice-T's rapping about similar stuff puts these cats flow (or lack of) to shame. But the editing, the editing is superb. posted by cashman at 8:32 AM on March 27

Heh. For a while I was absolutely convinced that you could find any non-archaic, non-oddball word in a rap song. It was a better claim when there were fewer rappers around, but still, if there's a word you've personally used in conversation, I was sure you could find it in a rap song. But now there's so many rappers that it's more of an inevitability-monkey-Shakespeare argument than an example of how cool rap is. posted by cashman at 9:08 AM on March 27

This is phenomenal, really. But it's only the second-best rap song based off highlights from a b-movie. Number one: weng weng. posted by jtajta at 10:20 AM on March 27
Nicely done. I particularly liked the mix-in of "If it bleeds, we can kill it." posted by quin at 10:36 AM on March 27
