Gotta love the Alien Queen from Duke Nukem 3D.

This would be way cooler if not for the fact that it's probably going to inspire someone to start another shitty sprite comic.

brain drain, I was just coming here to comment on the same thing. You didn't, per chance, spend a bit of time after high school working on an Aliens Duke Nukem TC too, did you?

Like sprites?

Yes, I do.

I'll see your People's Sprites and raise you two:

SpriteDatabase.net, updated weekly, and the MegaMan-specific but almost pathologically complete Sprites Inc.

The Super Metroid layout left out the sprites involved in Samus' Crystal Flash and beam shield moves. Yes, I am a total geek, thanks for asking.

I do too.

<Sigurd> a sprite is anything not static
<SRElysian> a sprite is a variable object
<SRElysian> be it 2d or 3d
<TorMuck> a sprite is a fucking soda
<TorMuck> you god damn geekass bastards

Via.

Hah, just came in to post that, Foci. :)

This is a cool site, but I'm at a loss for what to do with it. Ideas? (Besides shitty sprite comic?)

Oh, I don't know what to DO with it. That's not really something I thought about.

Thanks for those links, wanderingmind. Sprite Database is possibly even better. Everyone go there too.

This is great. But I'm still hoping to find a sprites/graphics and sound extractor for Linux for Commodore 64 binaries.

BlackLeotardFront: Oh, I didn't mean that I don't enjoy it for what it is. Just looking for a project. :)
