My favorite Google April Fool's joke was Gmail Paper. It was very well thought out, and it fooled me just long enough to get the feeling of being taken in, rather than the immediate "this is a joke" reaction. I guess because I know a lot of people who insist on printing out their email, it seems like a plausible market. I like how they handle attachments.
