Woman lives as teen, graduates high school... while living with foster families, collecting welfare, and leaving a string of sex accusations in her wake.

One man was accused of having sex with her as a 17-year-old minor; he plead guilty to win release on time served: 50 days in jail. That conviction has now been vacated (and quickly, for once). Of course, he's probably going to have to deal with showing up on sexual predator lists for years to come...

Last year she even duped an Alabama police department into a strange, futile search for her fictional family. Oddly, their web page on the case is still up.

Did I mention she's not a teen? She's 31.

I believe that "Alan Reeves," the composite Alabama mystery father from the second link above, is actually Mr. Potatohead.

This sounds like it would have been a good episode of Strangers with Candy. It's good to see the D.A.'s office do the right thing. Here in Virginia, they fight to suppress almost any evidence that can overturn a conviction, such as DNA evidence proving the innocence of a convicted "rapist".
