but, I have to admit that it is fun to hit the play button and slam that kitty's head into the table over and over again. My own five cats are watching it, laughing hysterically, screaming "what a stupid cat!", and begging me to play it again.

Hey, I can add tags to your posts?

Also, I was going to correct your grammar with a snarky reply: "I don't know... can you?" but apparently you can, without ever asking "May I?"

I stand corrected.

(To those following along at home, confused, there are tags I didn't add. Weird.)

Yeah, I'm just noticing that. When did this happen?

(This would be an excellent point for people to derail the derail with more cat stuff. NO DUMB DOGS ALLOWED.)
posted by loquacious at 8:13 AM on April 9, 2008

"dumb dogs" is redundant... my cats told me to say that...
posted by HuronBob at 8:14 AM on April 9, 2008

Man, I sometimes wish my cats were narcoleptic. Particularly at night when I'm trying to sleep and the plastic bag-licker starts in. This usually riles up the blanket-monster-killing toe-attacker enough to go on pain patrol. Then the towel-humper will make an appearance, trying to keep us from making eye contact with him, all the while head stepper is stepping on my head in what can only be considered the kitty equivalent of "I love you man, you wanna go and get me some more food?"

The idea that I could warm them up and watch them drop into a peaceful sleep is very compelling.

Tag War!!1

Seriously though go easy before the narcs take this away from us like they did the img tag. Hopefully those pseudo-fascist admins are busy hashing and re-hashing lobotomy posts and won't come in here. If they do, don't tell 'em I was here.

Googles "GYOFB".

What the fuck is a blog? That sounds unsavory and more than a little dirty. Why would I want one, say, more than I'd want a case of the piles?

I really, really want to see this, because I'm a sucker for cute cat stuff. But the stupid thing tells me I need the latest Adobe Flash player, even though I already have it, and when I go, fine, I'll go get it again, it won't let me download it.

Stupid, mean cat-watching-preventing technology.

One day, fatigue will set in.

Ok, I understand OM NOM NOMing on a cats head, but what the heck is she doing to her cats, uh, backside-ular regions!? That doesn't look sanitary at all.

you can't be series, dude.

We had a TA stand in for an absent professor for one of my math classes in college, and the guy had a really, really thick accent and so would say "serious" whenever he was talking about a series and it made for a very confusing first few minutes of class until we figured out what the hell he was talking about and I just kind of wanted to share that with you all.

What the fuck is a blog?

It's a small domestic animal. My cousin had one that was narcoleptic, and man was that hours of entertainment.

Odd line from the vet in that second video: "It's not particularly unpleasant for the dog except he can't live a normal life. He just cannot be a dog."

Seems unpleasant to me.

Narcolepsy is a neurological condition most characterized by Excessive Daytime Sleepiness (EDS). A narcoleptic will most likely experience disturbed nocturnal sleep [...] A narcoleptic may also sleep at any random time.

Hey, I just wikied that! Turns out all cats are narcoleptic then. So they can come scratching your door at 6 a.m. and when you wake up for good, they go on sleeping through the day, waking up for food breaks.
