Oooooh...they described a burning sensation on the arm, and others felt something touch their face and tug at their clothes. No, this is not some S&M fantasy. It's ghosts in Edinburgh. Scientists are looking into it.

Ok, bad me - I'm gonna self post on this topic; spank me. Still, I found these ghostbuster fellas interesting enough to talk to a couple of the local spookhunters: Philadelphia Ghost Hunters Alliance and South Jersey Ghost Research.

Not an imperative to read, but interesting if you've ever wondered what's going on in their heads as they stake out somebody's basement.

*yawn* The only thing worse than the ghost story on Look North last night was the Fat Kitties Need Adopting one. Or are these all just blurring together in my head?

As usual, I see little actual evidence coming from this "study." I'm sure it isn't a big publicity stunt to drum up tourism or anything. Wink, wink, nudge, nudge.

Lets get through the CSICOP prejudice and read the article eh quirked?

The researcher is known for debunking at least one famous "haunting" and used both a test and control group for this. Also I don't see how great a tourist attraction it is to be brought to tears or feel like you've just been burned.
