Unbelievable Sportsmanship

You're playing against a rival for the softball division championship. The ball is pitched, and crack! The ball heads over the fence, out of the park. The girl starts running for first base, then after getting to first, suddenly collapses to the ground, due to a torn ligament. It will sideline her the rest of the season. The umpire says that if her teammates help her finish, she would be called out. What do you do? If you're these college girls, you pick up your rival — in her last chance for a home run, a senior at her college — and carry her around the bases, letting her down just enough for her good leg to touch each base, and help her get her first run — eliminating your team from the playoffs.

If I'm the ref, I say she got a double.

If they hadn't done that, it might have been called a double.
