I'm sure they'll somehow blame Grand Theft Auto IV for this.

Yankees fan kills Red Sox fan.

Allegedly. I think deciding whether the defendant is guilty is the job of the trial, not teh internets.

And when they bury that Red Sox fan in the cement beneath the new stadium, the Yankees are gonna be hella fucked.

Allegedly.
It seems pretty clear that the person in the car did in fact kill the guy. Intent and baseball team allegiances are yet to be proven.

Baseball actually started out as a rather violent sport. Fans used to physically assault umpires that they disagreed with.

*is relieved that no Mets fans are involved*

Maybe apocryphal, but:
Throughout the entire game, [Ty] Cobb had been heckled by a fan of the opposing team. Finally, Cobb had taken enough, and went into the crowd to confront the fan. Upon discovering that the heckler was an amputee, Cobb did not back off, but instead started beating the fan with his own wooden leg.

How many Cubs fans need to be run over for them to win the World Series?

She indicated to police that she wanted to scare this group of people.

Well then maybe she ought to have hit the brakes at some point. Just a thought.

If I get to be judge and jury here--and hey, why not--the sentence is 15 seasons in the Fenway bleachers wearing a full Yankees uniform. Once a year she can wear a "GOT RINGS?" T-shirt.

May be apocryphal, but Cobb truly was at that level of douchenozzlery.
