Medici.tv is an online "television" dedicated to performing arts and music documentaries. Its current catalogue includes many classical concerts, documentaries by Johan van der Keuken and on the Kinshasa musical underground (previously), portraits (lots of Glenn Gould, Shostakovich by Sokurov, Maya Plisetskaya...), and plenty more. Launched April 30th, it's streaming its full contents in lovely quality for free until May 15th.

Geek tip: check Safari's "Activity" window....

Ah! I see under your Kinshasa musical underground link that they'll be airing Jupiter's Dance three times in May. That's great! I'm really wanting to see that! Thanks, progosk.

Lovely stuff, but I'm having trouble with the video quality, too jerky. However, that Maya Plisetskaya link above alone makes this a fabulous post.

Considering it's an all-singing, all-dancing website, the list of connections is reasonably small. What should I be looking for?

Dammit. I was hoping this was an online reality show about 15th century Florence.

I had to load the swf directly to bypass the silly "upgrade your flash" message.
