I would love to see a less literal interpretation of the drawings. I was hoping to see some stylistic photographuc evocation of the style of the children's drawings, rather than a direct photographic transposition of the major elements. The rough-hewn wonder and energy are absent from the photos.

I think these do contain the wonder and energy you speak of. Mostly in the way she interprets teh costumes.
