Well hell. And the first movie I think of when I hear the name is one of my all-time favourite comedies, "The Russians Are Coming! The Russians Are Coming", Norman Jewison's hilarious slam at the whole Cold War. Law played the young Russian sailor, Kolchin, who got to do smoochies with Andrea Dromm, one of my teen crushes. I've always pretty much thought of him frozen in that age and to have read that he was 70 this year was a bit of a shock. I'm sorry to hear of this passing.

The man was simply gorgeous. To each his/her own- I watched Barabarella for Ugo Tognazzi- yes, especially for the (fake) hirsutism. Hated pretty boys even as a little gay kid. Ugo (from La Cage aux Folles) died in 1990 ... for him and all the sexy rugged types who get/got upstaged by Mr High Cheekbones and hairless bods: .
