Internet Panhandling?

I've seen internet panhandling before, but this one promises to educate people about Bipolar disorder..... I was forwarded this today. This girl is trying to raise $35,000 over the next month to pay off debts she accumulated due to her undiagnosed Bipolar disorder. In return, she says she'll educate the public who visit her blog on the issue. It's an interesting idea, if she actually puts anything up about Bipolar Disorder. I threw 5 bucks into her Pay Pal account as some inspiration though, as I'd be amused to see if this is actually do-able. What are your thoughts on cyber begging?

It's for mugs. Why should I be more inclined to give money to some stranger at a distance about whom I know nothing than to any of the dozens of heavily indebted students I see every day?

It's also nothing new and this is a lousy post.

From the blog:

I want to become debt free in the next month.

Her meds need adjusting.

I threw a flag into this post in an attempt to inspire you not to do this again.
