Avoid Kenneth Lamar Noid

All Noid got was the pizza he ordered. After a five-hour siege, the two employees slipped away and Noid gave himself up. According to police, Noid has "psychological problems" and believes that he has an "ongoing dispute with Tom Monaghan," the head of the Detroit-based Domino's chain. via

I'm afraid I'm going to have to sentence you to writing "Metafilter is not FARK" 500 times on the blackboard, blasdelf.

Anyone else ever play "Yo! Noid"? I swear I'm about 1 of 20 people that actually played and beat the game.

I was also frustrated that "The Widow's Son" never lead to a finish to the series but never actually took someone hostage because of it.

Even an extra mod can't save us from this.

We need a legion of moderators in India or New Zealand to remove after-hours long-weekend posts.

In 1989, Kenneth Lamar Noid, a mentally ill customer who thought the ads were a personal attack on him

I would flag this as newsfilter, but something that happened in 1989 seems more like ancient history filter.

My friend Tim Cridland used to publish a 'zine called Off The Deep End in the late 1980's which was devoted to conspiracy theory and general weirdness. I remember reading about Mr. Noid back then...
