Do people still make two versions of sites, one "enhanced" and one "HTML?" Just pick one and go with it... posted by autodidact at 10:43 AM on May 29
Thanks to the lousy navigation, annoying laugh track and (spare me the) noun-stone jokes I quickly lost interest in what might be a half decent mash-up of elementary school lunch time tv reruns (Flintstones, Star Trek, Gilligan's Island) with a bit of Star Wars.
Alright, so after finally getting through the popups, things aren't so bad. Not like I'll be going back all the time, but alright. posted by theichibun at 12:55 PM on May 29

Yeah. It's not nearly as good the usual geologist jokes. I swear to god some secret agency (GSA?) will take you out if you don't throw in the obligatory rock puns. Cleavage? Cummingtonite? I mean, c'mon here, people.
In reality, I pretty much hated the Flintstones humor in the first place, though, so something replicating it probably wouldn't please me much. And seconding the absolute horribleness of the laugh track. If they had to use it, maybe it shouldn't have been every three seconds.
This was funniest when it was just a concept: the opening title, and an episode guide that included a parody of each original Star Trek episode. That was nearly a decade ago... the full episodes came a few years after that. Didn't know it was even still around.
