From the "Meaning" link: "Stonehenge Was [Royal] Cemetery First and Foremost, Study Says."

If the theory holds up it might account for the skeletal remains buried there and (in one case) not evidence of "a grisly execution [having occured] at the famous site."

no doubt I'm in the minority when I say that I'll be relieved when the slightest reference to Stonehenge does NOT instantly result in numerous Spinal Tap links. Sure, it's a funny movie, but way overdone.

I don't understand the article title. I mean, I just heard Keef get interviewed on the radio the other day, and, sure he mumbles, and slurs some words, but, hey, the man can still speak.

Oh well. National Geographic never did get rock n' roll, man.

Stonehenge is a wonderful symbol of the pure quest for knowledge. We'll never know exactly what it meant to its builders and later users. But that doesn't mean we should stop trying to find out.

It's also a grim symbol of the failure of the British planning system. What a mess that area is, a real national disgrace, and it's not going to be sorted out any time soon.

What does Canada have to do with the Englishmens anyways?
