Say what?
I'm sorry, could you please repeat that, I couldn't hear...

I'd just like everyone to know that I stand in political opposition to peace and quiet.

Finally, the world will recognize the importance of the "Noise" Photoshop Filter. I can't wait for "International Gaussian Blur Awareness Day"!

(The following "me too" is made possible by Noise Awareness Day.)

ME TOO!

In my third year at college I lived in a shared house with three students on teacher training practice. My box room neighbouring the toilet had only cardboard for a wall so on the days they were working I'd here the flush a 5:50 am, 6:10 am and 6:20 am. Somehow I always made it to my 9 am lectures . . .

'hear' the flush obviously

some people have way too much time on their hands. i'm sorry, but i think i missed the point of this holiday. maybe we should have a day without pictures. of any sort. so we could walk around and run into things. with all of those blind people driving cars and running each other over, we'd have the world's overpopulation issues solved.

I love this idea. Let's go through all the filters, one by one. Facet! Offset! Dry brush! Sumi-e! Underpainting! Maybe not.

I'm going to buy those folks this album. (Check those soundfiles!)

The work of the master.

Damn it, I was just about to do the same thing with this album. Is there any escape?

From the noise that is?

No, there's no escaping from the noise!

Hey, Foist, thanks for reminding me of that Negativland album. It turned my brain inside out when I was 16 and I've never been the same since. It may be my single favorite album of all time.

Yeah, I like that Negativland album too. I don't think it's my favorite of all time or anything, but there are various funny and disturbing bits on there (sometimes a single bit is both). "Time Zones" still cracks me up, as does "Nesbitt's Lime Soda." I also enjoy playing "Christianity Is Stupid" for people just to watch their reactions.
