Greenspun Redux. Philip has written an excellent overview of "what went wrong" from ArsDigita's inception to lawsuit phase. It's very detailed, very candid and quite an interesting read. It makes you wonder what stories are behind all the other failed technology and .com companies in the past year and a half.

For sitting on this (not that it was that easy to write), he's been vilified pretty heavily (e.g. at the slashdot thread). He's also keen to demonstrate (not that it's that hard given the balance sheet) that he was a better businessman than these people who pushed him out for being a poor businessman. Call me 80% in his corner.
