Today marks the official 8-language launch of 350.org and the start of global action against climate change. But what does this 350 number even mean? As author Bill McKibben and a chorus of scientific voices suggest, it means everything to the planet. If we want an earth at all, we'll need an Earth at 350.

Hey, I read Mallard Fillmore for all my political opinions, and he says the same thing is happening on Jupiter, so you're all just a bunch of loony liberals. Who are drawn funny.

via Boing Boing: Complete guide to debunking climate change denial. People obsessed with climate change not being real seem to come up with the same tired talking points over and over again - here's a refutation to all of them.

here's a refutation to all of them.

I wish. You'd be surprised the convoluted positions people can twist themselves into. The number of denial arguments is immense, they can be mixed and mashed to the point of near infinity.

Strangely, the same people have a similar list of talking points on denying evolution. It's like they each have a copy of the same two sided laminated card in their wallet.
